Sales and Renewal Manager

Salary: £39,775 basic with benefits plus new business sales bonus.

Corporate Power Limited t/a Energycentric is a national utility consultancy firm with a large client portfolio spread across all sectors. We are looking for a high-performing Team Manager to support our account handlers in meeting retention targets, as well as facilitate our customer acquisition and revenue growth plans.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands our company’s customer base and solidifies our presence in the market
  • Develop and implement a retention plan
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales/renewal forecasts
  • Build and promote healthy, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the current team and by assessing the team’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed. Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
  • Manage a small number of key accounts

Qualifications

  • 5 years sales experience
  • Energy industry experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
