Sustainability
How sustainable is your business?
Businesses believe there is a large cost to becoming sustainable. However, by implementing small changes you can make a big difference.
In June 2019, parliament passed legislation requiring the UK’s net emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) to reduce by 100%, relative to 1990 levels by 2050.
However, the UK government has recently announced new climate change commitments to cut carbon emissions to 78% of the 1990 level by 2035. Many organisations are working towards a net zero position now.
How You Can Help
There are a variety of avenues such as data analysis, building surveys, recommendations, cost predictions and third-party installation services such as energy-efficient appliances.
What is Net Zero?
Achieving a balance between the amount of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) produced and the amount removed from the atmosphere.
Energycentric has been certified as having provided a validated carbon footprint according to the future Net Zero Standard accreditation.
