Duties and Responsibilities
Our tenant billing department is looking for a Billing and Customer Service Administrator to join our busy team.
In this role you will be required to:
– Perform all billing functions by collecting and entering data into the financial system, creating invoices for submission, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and resolving billing issues as they arise.
– Assist with payments allocation and the implementation of our credit control procedures.
– Provide customer service via our client portal, emails, and telephone.
– Assist with the onboarding of new clients and setting up their billing requirement.
Skills
You will need to learn and develop a sound knowledge of our billing procedures and must show great attention to detail.
Analytical ability is essential, along with great communication skills to enhance customer relationships.
You will be required to:
• Confidently communicate with customers to answer their queries.
• Investigate and reconcile unbilled costs versus billed revenue.
• Issue invoices and distribute them electronically and by mail.
• Prepare and submit statements.
• Ensure customers are billed correctly for services offered.
To achieve this, you will demonstrate:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of relevant Heat district laws and best practices
• Good command of mathematics and financial data
• Great attention to detail
• The ability to independently manage own workload.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Excel and word skills at intermediate level
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Managing agents, landlord and developer
– Lease holder and tenants
– Suppliers
You must be able to reliably commute to Romford Town Centre for this role. There is also a requirement for some light physical duties in regard to printing and posting.
