Energy Bill Update - Government Announcement A new scheme is coming this April. The Energy Bill Discount Scheme (EBDS) is due to start on 1st April 2023 and will run until 31st March 2024. The scheme will replace the Energy Bill Relief Scheme (EBRS), and the Qualifying Financially Disadvantaged Customers (QFDC) discount, both ending on 31st March 2023.
